Richard Anthony Stollings, 52 of Holden, WV, departed this life on January 29, 2026 at Logan Regional Medical Center.

He was born May 12, 1973 in Fort Hood, TX the son of Richard H. Stollings and the late Cherry Stollings.

In addition to his mother, he was preceded in death by one daughter, Kirsten Blackburn, his grandparents, Clifford & Dorothy Conley and Herman & Margaret Stollings and his mother-in-law, Betty Vance.

Richard enjoyed racing dirt tracks, working on transmissions and vehicles at his shop Ace Transmissions.

In addition to his father, those left to cherish his memory include his wife, Alice Marie Stollings; one daughter, Rachelle Vance; one son, Trevor Meade; one stepson, Ray Woods Jr; one sister, Victoria Stollings Moore; six grandchildren, Cayden Watson, Carsyn Butler, Alex Maxon, Jazmine Maxon, Dalton Woods and Wrenley Woods; two nephews, Dustin Moore and Levi Moore; two great nieces, Aria Moore and Wrenley Moore; and his special friend, Kris Busick.

Services will be held at 1:00pm, Friday, February 6, 2026 at Freeman Funeral Home with Harrison Stollings and Mike Kimbler officiating. Burial will follow at the Forest Lawn Cemetery, Pecks Mill, WV.

Visitation will be on Friday, February 6, 2026 from 12:00pm until 1:00pm at the funeral home.

Pallbearers will be family and friends.
