Regina Evalina (Nelson) Hensley

Regina Evalina Nelson Hensley, 46 of Logan, WV formerly of Harts, departed this life on June 3, 2020 in Logan, WV. 

She was born January 2, 1974 in Columbus, OH the daughter of Delmas MacArthur Nelson of Logan, formerly of Harts and the late Sylvia Rena Maynard Nelson. 

In addition to her mother, she was preceded in death by her grandparents, Jerry & Madeline Moore Maynard and William “Bill” & Della Estep Nelson and one brother, Jerry MacArthur Nelson. 

Regina loved 4-wheeler riding with her children, painting and coloring.  She also loved spending time with her grandchildren. 

In addition to her father, those left to cherish her memory include her husband, Steven Ray Hensley of Logan, formerly of Chapmanville; two daughters, Allison Rena Hensley of St. Albans and Kalee Dawn Hensley of Logan; one son, Steven “Tyler” Hensley of Chapmanville; one sister, Kimberly (Erwin) Smith; four grandchildren, Sylvia Desira Rena Hensley, Linda Stamper, Michael Stamper Jr and Hope Stamper; three special aunts, Shelia Adkins, Joyce Maynard and Bonnie Maynard; along with a host of aunts, uncles, nieces, and nephews. 

Graveside services will be held at 12:00PM, Friday, June 12, 2020 at Maynard – Nelson Cemetery, Harts, WV with Jason Adkins officiating. 

Pallbearers will be family and friends. 

Freeman Funeral Home, Chapmanville, WV is in charge of the arrangements.
