Reba “Janey” Evans, 67 of Chapmanville, WV, went home to be with her Lord and Savior on November 7, 2025 at Logan Regional Medical Center, surrounded by her loved ones.

She was born September 5, 1958 in Logan, WV the daughter of the late Kennith Damron & Reba Wooten Damron.

In addition to her parents, she was preceded in death by her husband, Michael Evans, six brothers and sisters, James Damron, Larry (Karen) Damron, Barbara “Bobby” (Ronald) Limick, Ernestine “PeeWee” Rongo, Roger (Sarah) Damron and Diane Blankenship, and her father and mother-in-law, Herbert “Doc” & Alma Mae Evans.

Janey enjoyed reading, going to church, spending time with her family especially her grandchildren.

Those left to cherish her memory include her four children, Wendy (George) White, Michael “Greg” (Jessica) Evans, Sindy (Scottie) Watkins and Mindy (Michael) Davis; twelve grandchildren, Casie Bevins, Angel (Brett) Wells, Adam Evans (Jordin Mounts), Jake (Karley) Watkins, Kaleigh Davis (Charles Sweeney), Christian Roberts, Caleb “Booger” Evans, Mackenzie Roberts (Steven Eldridge), Jordan (Preston) Ellis, Gabriel Davis, Kailee White (Caleb Lawson) and Jared White; two great grandchildren, Roman Wells and Amelia Wells; five sisters, Sandra “Cookie” (John) Fletcher, Linda “Susie” (Bill) Privett, Ocie “Candy” (John) Tackett, Jackie (David) Swims and Laura (David) Shard; and one brother, Kenny (Sharon) Damron.

Memorial Services will be held at 12:00pm, Saturday, December 6, 2025 at the Chapmanville Church of God with Pastor Michael Davis and Pastor Randy Lee officiating.
