Raymond Dalton

Raymond Dalton, 44, of Chapmanville, WV, departed this life on January 30, 2021 at his residence.

He was born November 24, 1976 in Logan, WV, the son of Genniette Dalton of White Oak and the late Luther Dalton.

In addition to his father, he was preceded in death by maternal grandparents, Frank & Betty Carter, paternal grandparents, Pete & Bertha Dalton, one sister, Ann Dalton, two brothers, Albert Stevin Dalton and Baby Dalton; one brother-in-law, Raymond Mullins, mother-in-law, Belvea Workman, one step-grandson, James Workman and two nieces, Alexis Dalton and Shana Bryant.

Raymond was a former student of Chapmanville High School. He worked for Asplundh Tree Experts and Chafin Clear Cut.

In addition to his mother Genniette, those left to cherish his memory include his wife, Arzetta Dalton; two daughters, Karla (Tyler) Dalton and Caitlin Dalton both of London, KY; one son, Justin Dalton of London, KY; two step-sons, Tylor (Tonya) Workman of Charleston and Damien Workman of Chapmanville; two granddaughters, Raelynn Helton and Adalynn Dalton both of London, KY; one step-granddaughter, Heavenly Workman of Charleston; three sisters, Margie (Grayling) Mullins of Harts, Lahoma (Jackie) Mullins of Chapmanville and Fayetta (Teddy) Dalton of Chapmanville; one brother, Luther Dale Dalton of Striker; father-in-law, Lester Workman of Henlawson; two best friends, Carl Adams and Bobo Adkins; and a host of nieces, nephews, great nieces and nephews, aunts, uncles, cousins and friends.

Services will be held at 1:00 pm, Sunday, February 7, 2021 at Freeman Funeral Home with Barney Goins officiating. Burial will follow at Carter Cemetery, Browns Run, Chapmanville, WV.

Visitation will be on Sunday, February 7, 2021 from 12:00pm until 1:00pm at the funeral home.

Pallbearers will be family and friends.
