Ralph Edward Hightower, 65 of Mill Creek, WV, left this earth surrounded by those who loved him dearly on Thursday, July 3, 2025, at CAMC Memorial Hospital, Charleston, WV.

He was born May 7, 1960, in Logan, WV, the son of Stella Hightower and the late Hugh Hightower.

In addition to his father, he was preceded in death by his brother, Ricky Hightower.

Ralph enjoyed working on things and tinkering in the kitchen, spending time with his dogs and raising chickens, and watching motocross and racing which he passed on to his sons.

Many people knew Ralph from Hightower Wrecker Service, but he never met a stranger anywhere he went, and he would always help someone when he had the chance. Sarcasm was a strong suit of his, so we try to not ever forget to not take life too seriously. Laugh and enjoy life when you can.

In addition to his mother, those left to cherish his memory include his daughter, Whitney (Jake) Lyall; sons, Dylan (Anna) Thompson, Billy Hightower and Zach Gillum; and grandchildren, Piper, Bryson and Ridge Thompson, Greyson and Nova Hightower, and Savannah, Arissa and Sebastian Lyall.

In lieu of flowers, memorial contributions can be made to Freeman Funeral Home.

Services will be held at 12:00pm, Wednesday, July 9, 2025, at Freeman Funeral Home with Rocky Chafin and Vivie Marcum officiating. Burial will follow at the Baylous Cemetery, Salt Rock, WV.

Visitation will be on Tuesday, July 8, 2025, from 6:00pm to 9:00pm at the funeral home.

Pallbearers will be Cameron Lacy, Ronnie Bailey, Ernie Lambert, Ryan Vickers, Jesse Marcum and Tyler Baker.
