Priscilla Frye, 67 of Peach Creek, WV formerly of Monaville, WV departed this life on November 15, 2023 at Logan Regional Medical Center.
She was born July 14, 1956 in Holden, WV the daughter of the late William G. and Genieve E. (Rawlins) Blevins.
In addition to her parents, she was preceded in death by her husband, Ralph Frye; six brothers, William Blevins Jr, Miles, Clarence, Virgil, Charles, and Eddie Dowdy (whom she loved like a son); two sisters, Mary Carter and Nancy Burgess; and special little angel Shaelynn.
Priscilla was a housewife and a stay at home mom. She was a devoted mother and mamaw, her best attribute was the love she had and shared with her family. Priscilla had a love for all animals, especially dogs. She never met a stray that she didn't help and love. She loved her three dogs Max, Bambi, and Copper very much.
Priscilla is survived by her children, Genny (Jason Smith) Sheppard and Charles Jacobs; seven siblings, Jackie (John) Godwin-Ditz, of Cedar Park, TX, Cherry Blevins of Monaville, WV, James Blevins of Huntington, WV, Ray Dowdy of Cleveland, NC, Theresa Brown of Monaville, WV, Timmy Blevins of Huntington, WV, and Angel (Buck) Issacs of Harts, WV; seven grandchildren, Jessica (Jess Tomblin) Kitchen, Mika (Tiffany) Sheppard, Kayla (Raymond) Robinson, Kendra (Carl) Blankenship, Haley (Tyler Moore) Adkins, Emily (Trevor Cooper) Adkins, and Jason Sheppard; five great-grandchildren, Xavier, Grayson, Lexus, Vivian, Remington and baby Daxtyn due in February; and a host of many nieces and nephews.
The family would like to thank the staff at Logan Regional Medical Center, LEASA, Boone Memorial Homecare, Trinity of Logan, and her friend and caregiver, Arlene Belcher for all of the care she has received during her illness.
Visitation will be on Monday, November 20, 2023 from 12:00 to 1:00pm at Freeman Funeral Home.
Services will be held at 1:00pm, Monday, November 20, 2023 at the funeral home with Rev. Richard Belcher officiating. Burial will follow at Forest Lawn Cemetery, Pecks Mill, WV.
Pallbearers will be Carl Blankenship, Raymond Robinson, Tyler Moore, Trevor Cooper, Buck Issacs, and Zack Neace.
Freeman Funeral Home, Chapmanville, WV is in charge of the arrangements.
