Phyllis Jean Lambert

Phyllis Jean Lambert, 86 of Ranger, WV, departed this life on Thursday, April 27, 2023 at Hillcrest Health Care in Danville, WV.

She was born March 16, 1937 in Goose Creek, KY, the daughter of the late Dewey and Peacie Warrens.

In addition to her parents she is preceded in death by her husband; Jimmy Lambert, daughter; Juanita Faye Lambert, sister; Litta Hicks, brothers; Farlen Warrens, Garlen Warrens, Marlen Warrens, and Glennis Warrens.

Phyllis enjoyed her church, vegetable and flower gardening, and quilting.

Those left to cherish her memory include one daughter, Debra J. (Henry D.) Clark; one son, Donald (Rhoda) Lambert; three sisters, Christine Kosman, Catherine Whitaker, and Sharon Turner; one grandchild, Rebecca (Phillip) Viar; step-grandchildren, John Eric Clark, Brian Freshour, Steven Freshour, Ashley Freshour, Chasity Brewer, Addison Vance, and Lily Frye; great-grandchildren, Alexia Clark and Madyson Clark; Step-greatgrandchildren, Zachary Clark, Brian and Steven Freshour; special friends Iris and Larry Thompson, Paris Vance, and a host of nieces, nephews, and friends.

Visitation will be on Monday, May 1, 2023 from 6:00 to 9:00pm at Freeman Funeral Home.

Services will be held at 1:00pm, Tuesday, May 2, 2023 at the funeral home with Issaic Scotty Nelson officiating. Burial will follow at the Paradise Pond, Noah Lambert Cemetery, Ranger, WV.

Pallbearers will be family and friends.
