Peyton Cheyenne Nelson, 27 of Chapmanville, departed this life on June 14, 2024 in Harts, WV.

She was born June 5, 1997 in Cartersville, GA the daughter of Bob Nelson and Cindy Nelson.

She was preceded in death by her maternal grandparents, Lester and Delia Workman and paternal grandfather, Wandell Nelson.

Peyton graduated in 2015 from Cass High in Cartersville, GA. Peyton loved homemade do-it-yourself arts and crafts, her dog Sheba and collecting books. Peyton was known for her extreme kindness and ability to befriend everyone she met. Peyton was loved by everyone and had a remarkable ability to accept and love others without judgement.

Those left to cherish her memory include her father, Bob Nelson of Cartersville, GA; her mother, Cindy Nelson of Cartersville, GA; paternal grandmother, Lettie Nelson of Harts, WV; sister, Brittany Nelson of Cartersville, GA; brother, Branden Nelson of Austin, TX; niece, Remi Davis; special aunt, Vicky Moore and numerous family members and friends.

A memorial service will be held on Tuesday, July 16, 2024 at 1:00 PM at Freeman Funeral Home with Jimmy Carter officiating.

Visitation will be from 11:00 AM until 1:00 PM on Tuesday, July 16, 2024 at the funeral home.
