Perley Moore

Perley Moore, 78, of Harts, WV, departed this life on September 26, 2021 at his residence.

He was born June 17, 1943 in Wayne, WV, the son of the late Edward Roy and Opal Moore.

In addition to his parents, he was preceded in death by brothers, Charles “Buddy” Moore, Virgil Moore, Kenneth Moore and Ronald Moore and his in-laws, Ezra and Jewell Midkiff.

Those left to cherish his memory include his wife, Wilda Jean Moore of Harts; two daughters, Sharlene Moore of Harts and Patricia Moore of Seth, WV; four sons, Eddie Moore of Harts, Rickey (Dreama) Moore of Big Creek, Phillip (Regina) Moore of Chapmanville and Ronald Moore of Harts; four sisters, Lola (Sis) Booth, Naomi Moore, Ottie Billups, and Belle (Harold) Porter; one brother, Percy Moore; grandchildren, Shannon Moore, Christopher Meeks, Nick Moore, Tiffany (Cameron) Toney, Phillip Moore Jr, Katlin Moore, Adrionna Carter, Danielle Moore, and Kobain Moore; great grandchildren, Sadie Moore, Haven Meeks, Memphis Meeks, Bentley Toney, Nova Toney and Braxton Gillum; and a host of other family and friends.

Services will be held at 1:00pm, Friday, October 1, 2021 at Freeman Funeral Home with Donald Manns officiating. Burial will follow at the Webb Cemetery, East Lynn, WV.

Visitation will be on Friday, October 1, 2021 from 12:00pm until 1:00pm at the funeral home.

Pallbearers will be Tim Zornes, Eddie Moore, Phillip Moore, Phillip Moore Jr, Shannon Moore and Todd Lucas.
