Peggy Ruth Hensley

Peggy Ruth Hensley, 67 of Huntington, WV, departed this life on January 24, 2023 at the Emogene Dolin Jones Hospice House in Huntington, WV.

She was born April 4, 1955 in Logan, WV the daughter of Elmer Hensley of Harts, WV & Yvonne Hensley of Chapmanville, WV.

Peggy enjoyed reading and working crossword puzzles.

Those left to cherish her memory include her fiance, Mike Melton; two sisters, Betty (Mike) Proctor of Charleston and Denise J. Hensley of Huntington; two brothers, Jerry Hensley of Chesapeake, VA and Kenny (Tena) Hensley of Harts; and a host of nieces, nephews and friends.

Services will be held at 12:00pm, Saturday, January 28, 2023 at Freeman Funeral Home with Lonnie Gore officiating. Burial will follow at the Workman Cemetery, Harts, WV.

Visitation will be on Saturday, January 28, 2023 from 11:00am until 12:00pm at the the funeral home.

Pallbearers will be family and friends.
