Peggy Sue (Freeman) Hensley

Peggy Sue Freeman Hensley, 57 of Logan, WV, departed this life on January 16, 2023 at Logan Regional Medical Center.

She was born January 13, 1966 in Logan, WV the daughter of the late Ermil Sr and Edna “Mae” Freeman.

In addition to her parents, she was preceded in death by her brother, Ermil Freeman Jr.

Peggy loved playing with her 3 dogs Reba, Otis and Java. She enjoyed coloring, animals, Prince and getting outside to enjoy the fresh air.

Those left to cherish her memory include her son, Jonathan David Hensley; two sisters, Greta Renee Freeman and Dianna Perry; her loving and lifelong friends, Darlene Thieman and Imala Genice Harrah; and a host of nieces and nephews.

Services will be held at 1:00pm, Saturday, January 21, 2023 at the Church of God in the Name of Jesus Christ, Chapmanville, WV with Daniel Scott Lane officiating. Burial will follow at the Paisley Park Cemetery, Chapmanville, WV.

Visitation will be on Saturday, January 21, 2023 from 12:00pm – 1:00pm at the church.

Pallbearers will be Daniel Scott Lane, TJ McComas, and other family and friends.
