Peggy Ann Farris, 76 of Logan, WV, departed this life on July 16, 2025 at Trinity Healthcare Center at Henlawson, WV.
She was born February 11, 1949, in Kistler, WV, the daughter of Willie Johnson and Virginia Johnson Vance.
In addition to her parents, she was preceded in death by her husband, Sidney Farris, two sons, David Farris and Shaun Farris, stepfather, Columbus Vance and one sister, Connie Swims.
Peggy enjoyed sewing, making quilts and crafts.
Those left to cherish her memory include four brothers, Willie Johnson of Omar, WV, Charles Johnson of Knoxville, TN, J.R. Vance and Jimmy Vance both of Mt. Gay, WV; four sisters, Barbara Crum of Hatfield, KY, Darlene Swims of Danville, WV, Diana Maynard of Dingess, WV and Debbie Pullen of Mt. Gay, WV; two grandchildren, Bret Farris of Wayne, WV and Latasha Bryant of Fort Mitchell, AL; and two great grandchildren, Aliza and Mason Bryant both of Fort Mitchell, AL.
Per Peggy's wishes there will be no services.
Freeman Funeral Home, Chapmanville, WV is in charge of the arrangements.
