Pauline Vance, 85 of Delbarton, WV, departed this life on May 13, 2020 at her residence.
She was born December 17, 1934 in Harts, WV the daughter of the late William Dingess and Stella Stollings Dingess.
In addition to her parents, she was preceded in death by her husband, Lewis H. Vance, one daughter Marlene Vance; seven brothers, four sisters, and two grandchildren, Angela Denise Conley and Christopher Ewell Vance, and her in-laws, Lewis and Myrtle Vance.
Pauline enjoyed quilting, watching soaps and spending time with her grandchildren. She loved going to church.
Those left to cherish her memory include six daughters, Shirley Muncy, Dixie Kinney, Terri Hall, Sherry Perry, Rita Kay Carey and Stella Vance; four sons, John Daniel Vance, Marlo Vance, Jennings Vance and Ewell Vance; one sister, Alda White; grandchildren, Elmer C. Conley, Tracie Nelson, Kevin Conley, Jackie Conley, Melissa Kinney, Shawn Kinney, John Daniel Jr Vance, Wanda Sammons, Iva Michelle Vance, David Vance, Kevin Vance, April Vance, Amy Vance, Bobbie Vance, Jennings Michael Vance, Jessica Vance, Dustin Vance, Brian Carey, Brithany Nicole Adkins, Brianna Hall, Dakota Hall, Jazmine Hall, Keith Allen Perry, Keisha Danielle Perry, Savanna Christine Vance, Justin Sheppard, Rocky Sheppard, Patricia Vance, Angela Cable, John Vance; and a host of great and great-great grandchildren.
Due to the CDC and the State's recent mandate on public gatherings, related to COVID-19, only 25 people or less are permitted at the services.
Services will be held at 1:00 pm, May 17, 2020 at Freeman Funeral Home with Sid Moore officiating. Burial will follow at the Vance Cemetery, Dingess, WV.
A walk-through visitation will be held on May 17, 2020 from 12:00 – 1:00 pm at the funeral home.
Pallbearers will be Dakota Hall, Keith Perry, Dustin Vance, Shawn Kinney, Brian Carey and Elmer Conley.
