Patricia May McKinney, 68 of Danville, WV, formerly of Chapmanville, WV departed this life on March 13, 2025 at her residence.

She was born March 5, 1957 in Logan, WV the daughter of the late Arthur Ray McCoy Sr and Betty Mills McCoy.

In addition to her parents, she was preceded in death by her grandparents, James B. & Beulah Watts Mills and John Allen & Ella Fray McCoy, her husbands, LK Cook and James McKinney and her sister, Trina McCoy Hunter.

Patricia enjoyed going to church, reading her bible working puzzles, hanging out with her friends, talking on the phone and watching Smurf cartoons with her dog Buddy.

Those left to cherish her memory include her companion, James Johnston; sisters, Teresa Adkins, Angela McCoy, Tina Johnson and Ella Good and her brother, Arthur Ray McCoy II.

Services will be held at 12:00pm, Wednesday, March 26, 2025 at Freeman Funeral Home with Ralph Caudill officiating. Burial will follow at the Reds Cemetery, Spurlockville, WV.

Visitation will be on Tuesday, March 25, 2025 from 6:00pm until 9:00pm at the funeral home.

Pallbearers will be family and friends.
