Olive Estelle Bryant

Olive Estelle Bryant, 94 of Charleston, WV formerly of Chapmanville, departed this life on May 30, 2024 at CAMC General Hospital, Charleston, WV.

She was born February 2, 1930 in Shively, WV the daughter of the late Nim and Minnie Conley.

In addition to her parents, she was preceded in death by her husband, Preston Bryant, daughters, Dreama Gail Bryant and Helena Farmer, son, Freddy Bryant, granddaughter, Ashley Conley, grandson, Shawn Farmer, fifteen siblings and father and mother-in-law, Charlie & Dixie Bryant.

Olive loved to sing and go to church. She enjoyed canning, gardening, quilting and spending time with family.

Those left to cherish her memory include three daughters, Shelia Arthur of Charleston, Connie Neal of Clay and Lucy Conley of Chapmanville; three sons, Grady Bryant, Danny Bryant and Gary Bryant all of Chapmanville; one sister, Peggy Tomblin of Harts; twelve grandchildren; eighteen great-grandchildren; four great-great grandchildren; special niece, Angela “Bana” Wilson; her special caregiver, Betty Elmore; and caregivers, Darian, Crystal, Jorgi, Michelle and Shanna.

Services will be held at 2:00pm, Tuesday, June 4, 2024 at Freeman Funeral Home with Rick Adkins officiating. Burial will follow at the Forest Lawn Cemetery, Pecks Mill, WV.

Visitation will be on Tuesday, June 4, 2024 from 1:00pm until 2:00pm at the funeral home.

Pallbearers will be family and friends.
