Nim Moore

Nim Moore, 77, of Harts, WV, departed this life on January 11, 2022 at his residence.

He was born December 1, 1944 in Harts, WV, the son of the late Garfield and Faye Moore.

In addition to his parents, he was preceded in death by his wife, Alta Moore, stepson, Derrick Mullins, grandparents, Randolph & Missell Dingess and Samuel & Jane Moore, sisters, Edna Moore, and Jane Adams, brother, Thurman Moore, grandson, Justin Moore, son-in-law, Kenneth “Jeff” Meeks, sister-in-law, Joy Moore, and brother-in-law, Mitch Adams.

Nim was a disabled coal miner. He enjoyed farming, watching westerns, animal watching and spending time with family.

Those left to cherish his memory include his companion and the mother of his children, Gail Moore; two daughters, Darlene (Ron) Shelton and Rhonda (Froggie) Moore; two sons, Rodney Moore and Jerry Moore; two stepsons, Eric Mullins and Scotty Mullins; one sister, Florence (Amos) Hall; three brothers, Herman (Dorothy) Moore, Edgar (Eva Gail) Moore and Leonard Moore; and five grandchildren, Christopher (Lauren) Moore, Cody Moore, Ryan Moore, Ryder Shelton and Emily Shelton.

Services will be held at 1:00pm, Tuesday, January 18, 2022 at the Coal Branch Church, Harts, WV with Pastor Jimmy Carter officiating. Burial will follow at Adkins Cemetery, Harts, WV.

Visitation will be on Tuesday, January 18, 2022 from 12:00pm until 1:00pm at the church.

Pallbearers will be family and friends.
