Nicky Allen Wakefield

Nicky Allen Wakefield, 45, of Chapmanville, WV, departed this life on December 6, 2019 in Big Creek, WV.

He was born June 13, 1974 in Detroit, MI, the son of Drema Collins and the late Olin “Nicky” Wakefield.

In addition to his father, he was preceded in death his grandmother, Sybil Hathaway Akers and his in laws, John and Carrie Brewster.

Nicky was an avid outdoors man, and a wonderful father and mechanic. He was and excellent husband and son.

In addition to his mother, those left to cherish his memory include his wife, Nicole Wakefield; one daughter, Sybil-rose Wakefield; three sons, Nicolas Olin Wakefield (Kayla), Tyler Allen Wakefield and Jonathan Daniel Wakefield; one sister, Stephanie Bryant (Phillip); one brother, Daniel Collins (Sarah); one grandchild Leeah-Skie Wakefield.

He will be loved and missed by a host of nieces, nephews, great nieces and great-nephews.

Services will be held at 1:00pm, Thursday, December 12, 2019 at Freeman Funeral Home with Glenn Bryant and Jerry Bryant officiating.

Visitation will be on Thursday, December 12, 2019 from 12pm - 1pm at Freeman Funeral Home.

Freeman Funeral Home, Chapmanville, WV is in charge of the arrangements.
