Nara Wilson

Nara Wilson, 87 of West Logan, WV, departed this life on December 30, 2021, at her daughter's residence.

She was born July 28, 1934, in Crum, WV, the daughter of the late John Edgar Pertee and Olive Stella Chafin Pertee.

In addition to her parents, she was preceded in death by her husband, Robert L. Wilson, one son, Danny Joe Wilson and two grandchildren, Stacy Dotson and Anthony Justice.

Nara enjoyed going to church, playing cards, watching TV (especially old westerns) and boasting to anyone who would listen about her 44 grandchildren.

Those left to cherish her memory include five daughters, Mary Lou (Allen) McComas, Jenny (Doug) Harless, Linda Dotson Jett, Theresa Justice and Sonya Wilson; one son, Bobby Wilson; daughter-in-law, Sharon Wilson; one sister, Janice Collins; one brother, Raymond Pertee; grandchildren, Sheila (Brian) Music, Joey (Danielle) McComas, Ralph Fritts, Sara (Jim) Cody, Wayne (Cindy) Curry, Brian Lawrence, Myranda (Mark) Davis, John Sutherland, Tara Dotson, Mario Dotson, Heather (Patrick) Lardieri, Magen Wilson, Amanda Williams, Azrielle Wilson, Mariah (Thomas) Eckard, Jason Groomes and Jaron Groomes; great-grandchildren, Christopher (Andrea) Music, Kaylee (Sam) Aliff, Emilee (Josh) Roberts, Macy Music, Jerridan and Eli McComas, Ellie Aucoin, Pierce Cody, Broderick, Brooklyn, Bella, Briella and Biana Curry, John Wayne Sutherland, Anna Cook, Cameron Justice, Miryah Depetris, Cash Justice, Jasmine Wilson, Jacob Hadwin, Joseph and Autumn Sauls, and Tristin and Maddie Eckard; one great-great grandchild, Megan Music; and a host of nieces, nephews, friends and neighbors.

Services will be held at 2:00pm, Monday, January 3, 2022, at the Abundant Life Worship Center, Logan, WV, with Pastor Gary Wilson officiating. Burial will follow at Forest Lawn Cemetery, Pecks Mill, WV.

Friends may call Monday, January 3, 2022, from 1:00pm until 2:00pm at the church.

Pallbearers will be Brian Music, Christopher Music, Brian Lawrence, Joey McComas, Jerridan McComas and Allen McComas.

Honorary pallbearers will be Eli McComas.
