Missie Gillum- Conley, 53 of Chapmanville. WV, departed this life on July 5, 2024 at Logan Regional Medical Center.

She was born December 13, 1970 in Holden, WV the daughter of the late Carl and Nancy Gillum.

In addition to her parents she is preceded in death by her nephew Josh Gillum.

Missie enjoyed sewing, making crafts, gardening, and spending time with her grandkids.

Those left to cherish her memory include two daughters, Alisha (Kevin) Damron and ShyAnn Sabree Butcher; sons, Roger (Savanna) Clayton and Zach Gillum; sisters, Tammie Gillum and Bobbi (Timothy) Bryant; brothers, Carl “Buddy” Gillum, Jimmy Gillum, Billy (Angie) Gillum, and Stevie (Becki) Gillum; grandchildren, Aubrey Casto, Autumn Gillum, Liara Damron, Landen Clayton, Brooklyn Damron, and Raven Perry; and a host of nieces, nephews, family and friends.

Services will be held at 1:00 PM, Friday, July 12, 2024 at Freeman Funeral Home with Jimmy Carter officiating. Burial will follow at the Momma's Mountain Cemetery in Chapmanville, WV.

 

Visitation will be on Friday, July 12, 2024 from 12:00 PM until 1:00 PM at the funeral home.

Pallbearers will be Roger Clayton, Zach Gillum, Carl “Buddy” Gillum, Stevie Gillum, Brandon Gillum, and Dustin Gillum.

Honorary pallbearers will be Billy Gillum and Jimmy Gillum.
