Millard Philmore Farley

Millard Philmore Farley, 83 of Big Creek, WV, departed this life on April 13, 2024 at his residence.

He was born April 5, 1941 in Logan, WV the son of the late Ossie and Ruby Farley.

In addition to his parents, he was preceded in death by his grandparents, Millard & Myrtle McCloud, and four siblings, Violet, Harlan, Gene and Linda.

Millard enjoyed RV Traveling, and spending time with family. He loved attending church at Sardis Old Regular Baptist Church.

Those left to cherish his memory include his wife of 60 years, Catherine Farley; six children, Tacy Robb, Ronda Hensley, Timothy Farley, Mark Farley, Phillip Farley and Misty Farley; one sister, Rosa Lee; two brothers, David Farley and Henry Farley; thirteen grandchildren, Shannon MacGregor, Gabe MacGregor, Regina Foreman, Joshua Hensley, Rachel Hensley, Timothy Farley II, Mary Farley, Ashley Farley, Elizabeth Farley, Morgan Farley, Elijah Demko, Madison Demko and Ryan Cutlip; and ten great-grandchildren, Aaron Watts, Isabella Jackson, Jacob Miller, Rayanne Jackson, Lilly Jackson, Jazmine Hensley, Jason Hensley, Herbert Vance, Catherine Addair and Harper Hensley.

Services will be held at 2:00pm, Thursday, April 18, 2024 at Freeman Funeral Home with Joey Evans officiating. Burial will follow at the Forest Lawn Cemetery, Pecks Mill, WV.

Visitation will be on Thursday, April 18, 2024 from 1:00pm until 2:00pm at the funeral home.

Pallbearers will be family and friends.

Freeman Funeral Home, Chapmanville, WV is in charge of the arrangements.
