Michael Green, 59 of Logan, WV, passed away peacefully surrounded by his loved ones on September 19, 2025 at the Emogene Dolin Jones Hospice House, in Huntington, WV.

He was born May 29, 1966 in Logan, WV the son of the late Carl & Pauline Hobbs.

In addition to his parents, he was preceded in death by his brother, Carl Green and his special friend, Sheridan “Banner” Vincent.

Michael lived a life full of energy, kindness and joy. He will be remembered most for his big hearts, sense of humor and his passion for sports, specifically his love of the Seattle Seahawks and Washington Nationals. Michael had a natural ability to bring people together. He never missed a chance to support his family, share laughter or lend a helping hand.

Those left to cherish his memory include one brother, James (Jenny) Green of Logan; two sisters, April (Chad) Collins and Angel Hobbs both of Logan; along with a host of nieces, nephews and friends.

Services will be held at 1:00pm, Thursday, September 25, 2025 at Freeman Funeral Home with Donnie Wells officiating. Burial will follow at the Green Cemetery, Logan, WV.

Visitation will be on Thursday, September 25, 2025 from 12:00pm until 1:00pm at the funeral home.

Pallbearers will be family and friends.
