Mary Hager
Obituary
Mary Hager, 86, went home to be with the Lord on February 23, 2023.
She was preceded in death by her parents, Ernest and Ilene Hutchinson, brothers, Jim and Danny and sister, Peggy Fischer.
Mary taught in area schools through the years. She attended West Virginia University and received her Masters from Marshall University. She was Secretary and President of the Home Economics Club and inducted into the Home Economics Honor Society. Mary was a member of Alpha Sigma Alpha Sorority and Campus Christian Group. She loved her animals, but what she loved most of all was being with her family and friends.
Those left to cherish her memory include her children, Mary Ann Moore and Brad Hager; seven grandchildren; one great-grandchild; two sisters, Janett Hall and Barbara Hughes; and sister-in-law, Jane Hutchinson.
Memorial services will be held at 11:00am, Saturday, March 11, 2023 at the Boone Memorial Park.
Freeman Funeral Home, Chapmanville, WV is in charge of the arrangements.
