Martina Etta Walls

Martina Etta Walls, 86, of Morrisvale, WV, departed this life on February 8, 2020 at her residence.

She was born September 22, 1933 in Cameo, WV, the daughter of the late Robert and Mary Bennett.

In addition to her parents, she was preceded in death by her husband, Lee Walls, brothers, Kenneth, Raymond, Luther, Johnny, Cebert and Ishabal Bennett, and two sisters, Ida Anderson and Ethel Coon.

Martina enjoyed camping and crocheting. She was a Postmaster for 19 years at the Morrisvale Post Office. Martina was a member of the Pinnacle Church at Julian since 1993.

Those left to cherish her memory include three daughters, Kathy (Kenneth) Javins, Patricia Easter and Rebecca (Danny) Egnor; one son, Barry Clark; three sisters, Christine Strake, Hazel Kuhn and Judy Ratcliff; three brothers, Bobby, Jerry and Ray Bennett; eight grandchildren, Malina Koockogey, Kimberly Cook, Christie Barnhart, Martina Whittaker, Terri Tabor, Rachel Roberts, Alicia Javins and Miranda Clark; and twelve great-grandchildren, Ryan and Dylan Koockogey, Andrew and Jonathan Cook, Kiersten Davis, Kyleigh Sanders, Kendon Javins, Ethan and Emma Roberts, Cathrynn Barnhart and Javin and Luke Tabor.

The family appreciates the love and care displayed by the Hospice Workers.

Services will be held at 1:00 pm, Wednesday, February 12, 2020 at the Maple Hill Missionary Baptist Church with Pastor Chuck Gillispie and Jackie Clark officiating. Burial will follow at the Miller Cemetery, Morrisvale, WV.

Visitation will be on Wednesday, February 12, 2020 from 12:00 pm – 1:00 pm at the church.

Pallbearers will be Ryan and Dylan Koockogey, Andrew and Jonathan Cook, Denver Whittaker and Douglas Cook.
