Martha Jane Workman Smith, 83 of Logan, WV, departed this life on October 16, 2025 at Trinity Healthcare of Williamson, in Williamson, WV.

She was born May 8, 1942 in Harts, WV the daughter of the late Lloyd Workman and Nellie Williamson Workman.

In addition to her parents, she was preceded in death by four sisters, Linda, Idea, Alme, and Florence and five brothers, Willie, Clyde, Ray, Luval, and Elvie.

Martha enjoyed working with flowers and spending time with family and friends.

Those left to cherish her memory include her husband, Mason Jerry Smith; daughter, Dreama Kay Baldwin; son, Steve Daniel (Marvie) Smith; grandchildren, Tabatha Lynn Littleton and Layton Sylvester Littleton, III; great grandchildren, Angelique Hampshire, Iasiah Littleton, MaKayla Littleton and Lorraine Littleton; sisters, Gladys Hawkins and Dee Smith; and her brother, Timothy Workman.

Services will be held at 1:00pm, Wednesday, October 22, 2025 at Freeman Funeral Home with Jim Fortune officiating. Burial will follow at the Sheppard – Kinser – Meeks Cemetery, Harts, WV.

Visitation will be on Wednesday, October 22, 2025 from 12:00pm until 1:00pm at the funeral home.

Pallbearers will be Steven, Shannon, Blake, Richard, Keegan and Peggy.
