Malindia Rose (Vinson) Bryant, 53 of Chapmanville, WV, departed this life on August 28, 2023 at her residence.
She was born April 1, 1970 in Logan, WV the daughter of the late Max and Nancy Vinson.
In addition to her parents, she was preceded in death by her husband, Howard “Wayne” Bryant, grandparents, Bufford & Anna Mae (Farthing) Collins, Clifford Charles Vinson and Pearl (Vinson) Brown, one brother, Sherdian Vinson, one nephew, Brian Edward Woody and her father-in-law and mother-in-law, Howard & Ellen Bryant.
Malindia worked for Pride Community Services for 25 years where she drove a school bus. Her grandkids were the light of her life. Malindia devoted her free time to her grandkids and any extra curricular activities they were involved in. Her family was most important to her.
Those left to cherish her memory include her three children, Ryan (Deborah) Vinson, Samuel (Chrystal) Cagle and Heaven (Tad) Yearley; one sister, Mary (Ed) Woody; two brothers, Charles (Lucy) Vinson and Hurston (Michelle) Vinson; ten grandchildren, Hartlea, Kinsley, Ryan, Mallory, Bryce, Braesen, Kellen, Justin, Haley and Sierra; one great grandchild, Shealynn; nephews and nieces, Justin Woody, Dustin Woody, Gabriel Vinson, Melissa Evans, Brittany Long, Douglas Klinger, Joseph Stiles, Cody Stiles, Nicole Klinger and Dylan Adams.
Services will be held at 2:00pm, Sunday, September 3, 2023 at Freeman Funeral Home with Donnie Wells officiating. Burial will follow at the Vinson Cemetery, Harts, WV.
Visitation will be on Saturday, September 2, 2023 from 6;00pm until 9:00pm at the funeral home.
Pallbearers will be Justin Woody, Dustin Woody, Bobby Evans, Gabriel Vinson, Jacob Long, Ed Woody and Josh Matheny.
Honorary pallbearers will be Jacob Browning, Daniel Morrison, Jesse Marcum and Eric Runyon.
Freeman Funeral Home, Chapmanville, WV is in charge of the arrangements.
