Mabelene Conley

Mabelene Conley, 77 of Brushy Fork, Chapmanville, WV, departed this life on August 9, 2022 at her residence.

She was born August 25, 1944 in Logan, WV the daughter of the late Rodolph Conley & Irene McCoy Conley.

In addition to her parents, she was preceded in death by her daughter, Sharon Conley, brothers, Harry Dale Conley, Glen Conley, Freddy H. Conley, Delmus Conley, and David Conley, sisters, Reba Frances Bryant and Kathy Mae Conley, sister-in-law, Arlene Tabor Conley, and her in-laws Elzie & Dollie Adams Conley.

Mabel loved her children and grandchildren.

Those left to cherish her memory include her husband, Alfred Conley; daughters, Loretta (Chuck) Pennington and Lynn (Danny) Butcher; grandchildren, Kevin Ray Cook, Jamie (Amanda) Elkins, Sarah (Elijah) Miller, Mark Cook, and MaKayla Conley (Josh Newsom); great-grandchildren, Scarlett Cook, Eretria Butcher, Jamieson Elkins and Ezra Miller; son-in-law, Steve Elkins; sisters-in-law, Mary J. Conley Debbie Conley and Karen Conley; Mollie Mullins who was closer than a sister; and several nieces and nephews.

Visitation will be on Saturday, August 13, 2022 from 6:00pm until 9:00pm at the Freeman Funeral Home.

Services will be held at 2:00pm, Sunday, August 14, 2022 at Freeman Funeral Home with Steve Robinette officiating. Burial will follow at the Adams-Conley Cemetery, Brushy Fork, Chapmanville, WV.

Pallbearers will be family and friends.
