Lucille Sue Farris

Lucille Sue Farris, 64, of Logan, WV, departed this life on January 12, 2020 at Logan Regional Medical Center.

She was born May 10, 1955 in Logan, WV, the daughter of the late Charles Farris and Beatrice Dempsey Farris.

In addition to her parents, she was preceded in death by her daughter, Rebecca Starr, five sisters, Brenda, Pearl, Irene, Evelyn and Jewel, and three brothers, Charles Otis, Sydney and Darrell.

Lucille loved to watch TV, sit on the porch enjoying the weather, shopping, taking rides in the park and spending time with family.

Those left to cherish her memory include four daughters, Sabrina Dotson, Kimberly Vance, Melissa (Kevin) Miller and Elizabeth Vance; two sons, Phillip (Joyce) Vance and Tennis Ray Vance; one sister, Fannie Janelle; one brother, Donnie Farris; twelve grandchildren, Timothy, Brianna, Ernie, Garrett, Hannah, Daniel, Chloe, Joyce, Billy, Emily, Isaiah, Jayda, Jordan, and Aiden; a host of great-grandchildren; two special nieces, Donna and Linda; and her special friends, Bill Ward, Bob Rogers, Sylvia, Kecia, Kathy and her church family.

Memorial services will be held at 1:00pm, Saturday, February 1. 2020 at the Faith Independent Baptist Church with Bradley Lusk officiating.
