Louie Emmitt Chambers

Louie Emmitt Chambers, 91, of Mill Creek, WV, departed this life on Monday, September 12, 2022 at CAMC General Hospital, Charleston WV.

He was born March 22, 1931 in Crooked Creek, WV, the son of the late Lucian and Dicie Chambers.

In addition to his parents, he is preceded in death by his wife; Lillie Chambers, daughter; Deborah Kinney, siblings; Roy Chambers, Foster Chambers, Edith Ferrell, Mebel McCloud, Edna Maynard, and Christie Stevens.

Louie loved fishing, hunting, and traveling. Louie loved to be with his church and family.

Those left to cherish his memory include daughter, Brenda (Don) Adkins; son; Jimmy (Mona) Chambers; sister, Elsie McNeely; grandchildren, Chad Adkins, Stacy Pruett, Matthew Kinney, Glenna Dawn Cassity, and Amanda Clay; great grandchildren, Ashley Adkins King, Kaley Adkins, Allison Adkins, Abby Pruett, Jackson Pruett, and Ein Cassity; and great great grandchildren, Landon and Lilly Clay.

Services will be held at 1:00 pm, Saturday, September 17, 2022 at Freeman Funeral Home with Don Adkins officiating. Burial will follow at Chambers Cemetery, Pecks Mill, WV

Visitation will be on Saturday, September 17, 2022 from 12:00pm until 1:00 pm at the funeral home.

Pallbearers will be Louie's family.
