Louie Clint Butcher, 83 of Chapmanville, WV departed this life on Saturday, May 16, 2026 at his residence.

He was born April 21, 1943 in Logan, WV the son of the late Emmett Butcher and Rosie Shadd.

In addition to his parents, he was preceded in death by his wife, Mary Butcher; grandson, Charles David Dingess; brothers, Wilson Butcher, Callie Butcher, Clifford Butcher, and Michael Butcher; granddaughter, Latisha Breanna Nagy.

Louie enjoyed hunting and fishing, riding 4-wheeler rides, watching sports with his sons, and he loved laying with Toro and the cats.

Those left to cherish his memory include his children, Louie Butcher Jr., Connie Williams, Ronnie Butcher, and Lisa Bryant; sisters, Bonnie Conley and Mary Scarberry; grandchildren, Felicia Garrett, Robert Butcher, Jeffrey Butcher, Aaron Dingess, Lisa Adams, Britny Lievano, Nicholas Butcher, and Camaron Butcher; great-grandchildren,Christopher Charles Ray Adams, Hannah Marie Adams, Tyler Gabriel Isaac Adams, Brody Garrett, Rhett Garrett, Victoria Lievano, Isabella Lievano, Angelina Lievano, Ezechiel Lievano, John Lievano, Philumena Lievano, Lucia Lievano, and Madalyn Tomblin; great-great grandchildren, Khaleesi Adams and Ranger Allen Wells.
