Obituary
Loretta Gaye Adkins, 70 of Harts, WV departed this life on May 30, 2023 at St. Marys Medical Center.
She was born February 7, 1953 in Harts, WV the daughter of the late Tilmon Dempsey and Ina Adkins Dempsey.
In addition to her parents, she was preceded in death by her father and mother-in-law, Finis Adkins and Nellie Bryant Adkins.
Those left to cherish her memory include her husband, Ronald Adkins; one step-daughter, Jessica Dee Adkins Crisp (Roy); one step-son, Bryan Michael (Angie) Adkins; four grandchildren, Derrick Elkins, Erin Adkins, Bryan Adkins II, and Kilei Shortt; three great-grandchildren, Waylon, Larra, and Augustus Elkins; and special friends, Lana Jo Napier, Sharon Elkins, Diane Lilly, and Willie Robinson.
Visitation will be on Friday June 2, 2023 from 11:00am to 1:00pm at Freeman Funeral Home.
Services will be held at 1:00pm, Friday, June 2, 2023 at the funeral home with Jimmy Carter officiating. Burial will follow at the Rebel Adkins Cemetery, Harts, WV.
Pallbearers will be family and friends.
