Lonnie Jackson Napier

Lonnie Jackson Napier, 67, of Ranger, WV, departed this life on October 11, 2021 at St. Mary's Medical Center, Huntington, WV.

He was born February 19, 1954 in Huntington, WV, the son of the late Pearley J. & Lucille (Maynard) Napier.

In addition to his parents, he was preceded in death by his grandparents, John & Margret Napier and Ezra & Grace Maynard, one son, Larry Jackson Napier, one brother, Alford Lee Napier and his in-laws, Grady & Druzella Shelton.

Lonnie enjoyed going to church, working around the home place, hunting, fishing, gardening and spending time with family.

Those left to cherish his memory include his wife, Nancy Shelton Napier of Ranger; one son, Brian Jackson Napier of Ranger; daughter-in-law, Rose Napier of Danville; and three brothers, Glen (Jackie) Napier, Rick (Liz) Napier and Danny (Maelene) Napier.

Services will be held at 12:00pm, Friday, October 15, 2021 at Freeman Funeral Home with Moses Vance and Ernest Vance officiating. Burial will follow at the Pearley J. Napier Home Place, Ranger, WV.

Visitation will be on Friday, October 15, 2021 from 11:00am until 12:00pm at the funeral home.

Pallbearers will be family and friends.
