Obituary
Lola Conley, 91 of Smokehouse Fork of Chapmanville, WV, departed this life on May 11, 2022 at her residence.
She was born July 20, 1930 in Chapmanville, WV the daughter of the late Moscoe & Della Conley.
In addition to her parents, she was preceded in death by her husband, Jim Conley, one son, James Conley, grandparents, Ulyses & Laura Conley and Preston & Dora Samson, four sisters, Naomi Conley, Thelma Adams, Theora Powers and Patty Ball, three brothers, Julius, Kenny and Gallie Conley and her in-laws, Charley & Lula Conley.
Lola enjoyed sewing, gardening, canning and watching TV.
Those left to cherish her memory include one daughter, Charlotte Hayes; two sisters, her special twin, Lottie Farris and Reba Dingess; four brothers, Curtis, Gillis, Carl and Ransom Conley; three grandchildren, Travis Hayes, Kim Bailey and Tricia Conley; and two great-grandchildren, Charity Bailey and Lucas Bailey.
Services will be held at 1:00pm Saturday, May 14, 2022, at Freeman Funeral Home with Glenn Tomblin officiating. Burial will follow at the Conley Cemetery, Chapmanville, WV.
Visitation will be on Saturday, May 14, 2022 from 12:00pm until 1:00pm at the funeral home.
Pallbearers will be Travis Hayes, Keith Conley, Israel Conley, Greg Powers, Mickey Tomblin, Michael Bailey and David Payne.
Freeman Funeral Home, Chapmanville, WV is in charge of the arrangements.
