Lois Joan Myers

Lois Joan Myers, 83, of Cross Lanes, WV was surrounded by her loved ones as she departed this life and went to Heaven to be with her Lord and Savior on January 31, 2022.

She was born on February 3, 1938 at Ethel, WV to Wade and Myrtle Cline. She was the granddaughter of James & Amanda Cline and Jamison & Hattie Vinson.

Lois was a 1955 graduate of Logan High School, the same year she married her husband and the love of her life, the late Vaughn Myers. In 1964, Lois and her family moved to Las Vegas, NV, where she served as a pastor's wife and worked as a Telephone Operator for 28 years at the Mint Hotel among other hotels. Lois and her family moved back to Logan, WV in 1992, where she and her husband continued to pastor for many years. Lois was a Christian, loved her family dearly and she enjoyed singing and playing the piano in church.

Lois is preceded in death by her parents, grandparents, husband, Rev. Vaughn Myers, sister Barbara Cline and brother Wade Cline, Jr.

She is survived by her daughters; Joanna Campbell of Cross Lanes, WV and Sabrina Bledsoe (Michael) of Chapmanville, WV. Sisters; Anna Jean Browning of Chapmanville, WV, Bonnie Griffin (Jerry) and Lorna Cline all of Las Vegas, NV. Grandchildren; Rustyn Lee of Las Vegas, NV, Sabrina White (Travis) of Barboursville, WV and Dr. Michael Bledsoe (Megan) of Charleston, WV; nieces, Shannon Cain, Tammy Kakas (Jay) and Lori Cline all of Las Vegas, NV; several great-nephews and a host of family and friends.

A celebration of life will be held on Tuesday, February 8, 2022 from 12:00pm until 1:00pm at Freeman Funeral Home, in Chapmanville, WV.

Funeral services will be at 1:00pm, Tuesday, February 8, 2022 at Freeman Funeral Home with Bishop Michael Davis officiating. Burial will follow at Highland Memory Gardens, Old Logan Road, Chapmanville, WV.

Pallbearers will be Rufus Dingess, Jr., Logan Adkins, Rick Ball, Dwight Neal, and David Belcher.
