Linda Faye Ward

Linda Faye Ward, 74 of Chapmanville, WV, departed this life on April 20, 2022 at her daughters residence.

She was born February 15, 1948 in Lundale, WV the daughter of the late Lacy Ernest Jarrell & Martha Ann Johnson Jarrell.

In addition to her parents, she was preceded in death by her husband, Kenneth Ward, son, James Ward, sisters, Venis Adkins and Jean Jarrell and brothers, Robert Jarrell, Sebert Jarrell, Troy Jarrell, Fredie Jarrell, Joe Jarrell and Roy Jarrell.

Linda enjoyed spending time with family and cooking.

Those left to cherish her memory include one daughter, Kimberly Dawn Sperry and her husband, David; two sisters, Ernestine Bowling, and Marie Chapman (Arnold); two sisters-in-law, Jeannie & Scott Fleming and Virginia & Trevie Oney; five grandchildren, Steven (Tisha) Sperry, Shani (Barry) Workman, Katlyn (Austin) McCann, Travis Ward and Hannah (Blake) Sperry; and seven great-grandchildren, Wade Kenneth Sperry, Walker Sperry, Isaac Workman, John David McCann, Willow Sperry, Ryelee Sperry and James Sperry.

Services will be held at 2:00pm, Wednesday, April 27, 2022, at Freeman Funeral Home with Ronnie Linville officiating. Burial will follow at Highland Memory Gardens, Old Logan Road, Chapmanville, WV.

Visitation will be on Tuesday, April 26, 2022 from 6:00pm until 9:00pm at the funeral home.

Pallbearers will be Steven Sperry, Wade Sperry, Austin McCann, Barry Workman, Travis Ward, Clifford Sperry, Devin Blevins and Bret Baisden.

Freeman Funeral Home, Chapmanville, WV is in charge of the arrangements.
