Linda Lee Obituary

Linda Kay Lee, 65 of Whitman, WV, departed this life on April 8, 2022 at Logan Regional Medical Center.
Linda was born to the late Willie Johnson and Audrey (Knapp) Johnson of Ethel, WV on December 24, 1956. Devoted wife, mother, and grandmother, Linda was the most humble and kind-hearted woman to walk this earth. She never missed an opportunity to make someone else smile and lived her life ensuring that no one she loved went without. Linda truly enjoyed her days at Eastern Mining and thought of her coworkers as family. Her unwavering faith and impermeable belief in Jesus Christ allows those she left behind to celebrate her reunion with her savior.

Linda is survived by her husband, Paul David Lee; her daughter, Tiffany McCoy (Marcus); her grandchildren, Malachi McCoy and Kaylee Bannister; four stepchildren, David Aaron Lee (Vicki), Bethany Lee Schebler, Monica Renee Boddie (Casey), Erica Michelle Vance (Bobby); step-grandchildren, Kiera Lee, Brody Schebler, Braisson Boddie, Miley Rae Boddie, Nevaeh Vance, Aryianna Vance and Addison Vance; her sisters, Barbara (Lloyd) Tyner and Tammy (Tommy) Wiley, along with nieces, nephews and cousins.

Others that preceded her in death are her brothers, Ray and Nancy Johnson, Bernard and Mary Johnson, James (Bo) Johnson, Willie Jr. (Sock) Johnson, Ted Johnson; her sisters, Ellen and Howard Pridemore and Judy and Terry Workman; and her step son-in-law, Christopher Schebler.

Her song may have come to an end, but her beautiful melody will go on forever. Linda will be deeply missed by any and all who were lucky enough to know her.

Psalm 73:26

26 My flesh and my heart may fail, but God is the strength of my heart and my portion forever.

A Celebration of Life service will be held at The Lord’s House Community Church, Trace Ave, Holden, WV on Saturday, April 16, 2022 at 1:00 pm. Robert Hawkins will officiate the service.
