Lethie Lorraine Purkey

Lethie Lorraine Purkey, 47, of South Charleston, WV, departed this life on Sunday, June 17, 2018 in Boone County, WV.

She was born April 30, 1971 in West Hamlin, WV, the daughter of Bethel & Elaine Purkey of Harts.

She was preceded in death by her grandparents, William Purkey, Winford Moore & Beatrice (Shelton) Moore.

Lethie enjoyed playing the guitar, singing, riding her motorcycle, spending time with her grandchildren, her fur babies and DIY projects. She never met a stranger.

In addition to her parents, those left to cherish her memory include her grandmother, Anna Bell Purkey; one daughter, Danielle Wiley of Harts; one son, Justin Wiley of Harts; two sisters, Tanya Purkey of Proctorville, OH and Jillian Purkey-Ferrell of Lake, WV; two grandchildren, Raylen Madden and Keiton Curry both of Harts; and a host of special friends and family.

Services will be held at 1:00 pm, Saturday, June 23, 2018 at Freeman Funeral Home with Evangelist Roger Dingess officiating.

Visitation will be on Friday, June 22, 2018 from 6 – 9 pm at the funeral home.
