Leroy Richards, 78 of Chapmanville, WV, departed this life on May 16, 2024 at Logan Regional Medical Center.
He was born November 24, 1945 in Logan, WV the son of the late Warren & Lena Richards.
In addition to his parents, he was preceded in death by his wife, Sheila Richards, sisters, Nettie Wallace and Donna Miller and brothers, Homer Richards, Tivis Richards, Ransome Richards and Cletis Richards.
Leroy loved to make people laugh and hunt.
Those left to cherish his memory include his son, Roy Clint Richards; sisters, Magdalene Browning, and Nellie Conley; grandchildren, Dakota Butcher and Kista Butcher; and three great grandchildren.
Services will be held at 1:00pm, Thursday, May 23, 2024 at Freeman Funeral Home with Jerry Sutphin officiating. Burial will follow at the Forest Lawn Cemetery, Pecks Mill, WV.
Visitation will be on Thursday, May 23, 2024 from 12:00pm until 1:00pm at the funeral home.
Pallbearers will be family and friends.
