Leota Mae Farley, 74 of Chapmanville, WV, departed this life on June 30, 2020 in Chapmanville, WV.
She was born December 21, 1945 in Logan, WV the daughter of the late Arlen and Theora Conley Powers.
In addition to her parents, she was preceded in death by her husband, Elwood Farley, grandparents, John & Lottie Walker Powers and Moscoe & Della Sansom Conley, one brother, Denver Conley, and seven brothers-in-law, Fred Hager, Milton Adams, Parker Stollings, TJ Akers, Mark Akers, Ronnie Roberts and Watson Simpkins.
Leota enjoyed cooking, baking, going to church and she loved the Lord.
Those left to cherish her memory include one daughter, Lawana (Jessica) Farley; two sons, Michael (Deborah) Adams and Clifton (Paula) Powers; eleven sisters, Juanita (Leslie) Tomblin, Cora Hager, Dora (Dave) Roberts, Della Powers, Lucille Powers, Bertha (Jack) Darby, Deloris Adams, Brenda Lamb, Rosemary Akers, Roxie (John) Tompkins, and Debra Dowdy; three brothers, Lester (Sue) Powers, Frellin (Yvonne) Powers and Arlen Jr (Amy) Powers; six grandchildren, Addalyn Powers, Olivia Powers, Elijah Powers, Wesley Powers, Logan Powers and Ava Sophia Martin.
Services will be held at 1:00 pm, Tuesday, July 7, 2020 at Freeman Funeral Home with Jimmy Carter officiating. Burial will follow at the Highland Memory Gardens, Old Logan Road, Chapmanville, WV.
Friends may call Tuesday, July 7, 2020 from 11:00am – 1:00pm at the funeral home.
Pallbearers will be family and friends.
