Leah Jones, 65 of Mount Gay, WV, departed this life on February 1, 2025, at St. Mary's Medical Center, Huntington, WV.

She was born September 23, 1959, in Logan, WV, the daughter of the late James and Janice Jones.

In addition to her parents, she was preceded in death by her sister, Sonya Jones.

Leah enjoyed watching her favorite shows, hanging with her friends and family, and she loved helping people.

Those left to cherish her memory include her sons, Josh Jones and Sean (Angel) Jones; sisters, Yvonne Sammons and Retha Marcum; grandchildren, Brandon Jones, Zane Jones and Adalyn Christian; great-grandchildren, Kason Johnson and Aiden Jones; niece, Rachael Tiller; and nephew, Chad Marcum.

Services will be held at 1:00pm, Monday, February 10, 2025, at Freeman Funeral Home with Kevin Conley officiating. Burial will follow at the Frye Cemetery, Verdunville, WV.

Visitation will be on Monday, February 10, 2025, from 12:00pm to 1:00pm at the funeral home.

Pallbearers will be family and friends.
