Larry Dale Wooten

Larry Dale Wooten, 56, of Columbus, OH formerly of Dingess, WV, departed this life on June 1, 2022 at the Kobacker House, Columbus, OH.

He was born January 7, 1966 in Logan, WV, the son of the late Willard and Lula Tomblin.

In addition to his parents, he was preceded in death by one brother, Gary Wooten and his father-in-law, James Dan White.

Larry enjoyed riding his harley, spending time with his grandchildren, flea markets, going junking, dumpster diving and finding junk he don't need.

Those left to cherish his memory include his wife, Janet Wooten; two daughters, Lola Wooten and Jane Presley; one son, Larry (Annie) Wooten; one sister, Ruby (Bill) Cortez; five brothers, Willard “Boo” (Debbie) Tomblin, Buddy (Trish) Tomblin, Blueeyes (Lisa) Tomblin, Joe (Crystal) Tomblin and Ted Tomblin; five grandchildren, Jordon Wooten, Lyla Wooten, Zoey Dykes, Autumn and Noah; his beloved nieces, nephews, and family friends; his mother-in-law, Patricia White; one special friend that was like a brother, Kevin Jarvis; and a host of other family and friends.

Services will be held at 1:00pm, Sunday, June 5, 2022 at the Mudfork Freewill Baptist Church with Greg Taylor officiating. Burial will follow at the Tomblin Family Cemetery, Dingess, WV.

Visitation will be on Saturday, June 4, 2022 from 6:00pm until 9:00pm at the church.

Pallbearers will be his brother, son and other family.
