LaVerne Maynard Hall, 89 of Holden, WV, departed this life on July 2, 2025, at the Rest Haven Nursing Home, in Greenville, OH.

She was born December 15, 1935, in Holden, WV the daughter of the late Wetzel G. Maynard and Cynthia Ann Bradshaw Maynard.

In addition to her parents, she was preceded in death by her husband, Joe A. Hall, her grandparents, Samuel & Nancy Maynard and Patrick & Rosa Bradshaw, sisters, Irene Rucker, Ileta McCallister and Claudine Maynard, brother, Vergil Maynard and her in-laws, Roy & Mary G. Hall.

Those left to cherish her memory include her sons, Joe A. Hall Jr. and wife Diana, and Jeffrey D. Hall and his wife Diana; granddaughter, Morgan L. Lawrence and her husband, Dan.

In lieu of flowers the family asks that memorial contributions can be made to the St. Judes Children's Hospital.

Services will be held at 12:00pm, Tuesday, July 8, 2025, at Freeman Funeral Home with Pastor Kevin Conley officiating. Burial will follow at the Highland Memory Gardens, Old Logan Road, Chapmanville, WV.

Visitation will be on Tuesday, July 8, 2025, from 11:00am until 12:00pm at the funeral home.

Pallbearers will be family and friends.
