Kori Danielle White, 34 of Verdunville, WV, departed this life on Sunday, August 4, 2024 at CAMC General, Charleston, WV.

She was born September 1, 1989 in Charleston, WV the daughter of Helen White, Jeff Stevens and Steve White.

She was preceded in death by, her grandparents, Hazel & Wandell Smith and Dallas & Bonnie White.

Kori graduated from Logan High School in 2007 where she played basketball for the Wildcats. Kori dedicated 15 years to the communities of Logan Co, Boone Co, Lincoln Co, Horry Co, SC and Kanawha Co. She began as a 911 Dispatcher then went on to become an EMT. She then graduated from Southern with her Associates Degree in Paramedicine. Kori was brilliant and loved to constantly better herself, in 2015 after obtaining her MCCP she achieved her ultimate goal and became a CCT Paramedic and was employed by KCEAA, where she worked on the Beast of the East and cared for those in Belle, WV. She loved her job and helping people. To know Kori was to love her, she was the most loving, caring and humble person ever. She had a love for dogs and loved WV Football and the Steelers.

In addition to her parents, those left to cherish her memory include, her sister, Kellie (Larry) Lucas, brothers, JC and Joey (Shayna) Stevens, nieces Lara and Lonna, aunts, Brenda (Tom) Smith, Connie Spry, Sue (Brian) Martin, uncle, Bobby (Lulla) Smith, cousins, Julie(Arnold) Wayne, Charli Kitchen, Kayla (Brandon) Franklin, Erika Smith, Garrett Smith, Beth Spry, Joyce, Jaden and Blaine, second cousins, Hannah Fowler, Nathan Vance, and Abby Vance, and her special friend Alex Metcalf who shared their furbabies, and Jake, Karlie, Lily and Lucy.

Memorial services will be at Cornerstone Family Fellowship Church on October 5, 2024, at 4:00pm.
