Kennith "Mike" Hager

Kennith “Mike” Hager, 62, of Hewetts Creek, WV, departed this life on November 14, 2022 at the West Virginia University Hospital, Morgantown, WV.

He was born January 17, 1960 in Madison, WV, the son of Kennith Jack & Janet Dean Hager of Hewetts Creek.

He was preceded in death by his grandparents, Alton & Cella Ball and Jack & Blanche Hager.

Mike enjoyed playing volley ball, racecar driving, hunting molly moochers and ginseng and enjoyed making everyone laugh.

In addition to his parents, those left to cherish his memory include his companion, Lois Ball; two daughters, Kelly Hager and Amanda Hager; two sisters, Bonnie Woods and Patti Ball; three grandchildren, Morgan Hager, Shelby Dotson and Alex Irvin; brothers-in-law, Greg Woods and Tony Ball; nephews, Jayson and Matthew Woods and Joshua and Jeremy Ball; and his cats, Lucky and Blackie.

Services will be held at 1:00pm, Tuesday, November 22, 2022 at Freeman Funeral Home with Pastor Roger McCauley officiating. Burial will follow at Memory Gardens, Low Gap, Madison, WV.

Visitation will be on Tuesday, November 22, 2022 from 12:00pm until 1:00pm at the funeral home.

Pallbearers will be Robert "Pete-Z" Cox, Matthew Woods, Tony Ball, Joshua Ball, Jeremy Ball and Greg Woods.

In lieu of flowers the family asks that memorial contributions be made to the Recovery Point West Virginia.

Freeman Funeral Home, Chapmanville, WV is in charge of the arrangements.
