Kennith Lloyd Kirk

Kennith Lloyd Kirk, 63, of Harts, WV, departed this life on Monday, August 31, 2020 at Cabell Huntington Hospital.

He was born March 1, 1957 in Holden, WV, the son of Wanda Kirk and the late Okey Kirk.

In addition to his father he was preceded in death by his first wife Bertha Kirk, sister-in-law, Joyce Kessler and father-in-law, Thomas Kessler.

Kenny was the Pastor of Piney Community Church for several years. He loved spending time with his family and grandchildren fishing on his boat and camping. Kenny loved life and telling people about God and preaching. He enjoyed working with his tractor.

In addition to his mother, those left to cherish his memory include his wife, Barbara Kirk; daughters, Andrea (Alan) Raines, Amanda (Danny) Varney and Whitney Hensley (Stephen Thompson); sons, Andy (Vanessa) Kirk, Jarred Kirk (Stephanie Carter) and Daniel (April) Hensley; grandchildren, Salena (Josh) Messer, Sidney Kirk, Brady Raines, Ayden Kirk, Olivia Hensley, Raelyn Hensley, Jeremiah Hensley, Jacob Varney, Riley Varney, Julian Thompson, and Jazmyn Thompson; great-grandchild, Alexandria Messer; sisters, Peggy (Red) Bowers, Lisa (Gordon) Petry, and Darlene (Tommy) Maynard; brothers, Herman (Lisa) Kirk and Mark (Tonya) Kirk; his mother-in-law, Virginia Kessler; sisters-in-law, Myrt (Danny) Larson, Susie (Harry) Lail, Nina (Jeff) Sloan, Betsy (Terry) Warner and Brenda (Charlie) Adams; brothers-in-law, Michael Conley, Jack (Wilma) Kessler, Bob (Deborah) Kessler, Slick (Janet) Kessley and Toney Kessler; and a host of nieces and nephews.

Services will be held at 1:00 pm, Saturday, September 5, 2020 at the Piney Community Church with Rev. Manasses Hensley Jr, Bro. Adam Kirk and Bro. Danny Varney officiating. Burial will follow at Lucian Kirk Cemetery, Harts, WV.

Visitation will be on Saturday, September 5, 2020 from 11:00am – 1:00pm at the church.

Pallbearers will be family and friends.
