Kelly Ann Hoosier Obituary

Kelly Ann Hoosier, 42 of Harts, WV, departed this life on September 26, 2024, at Harts High School, Harts, WV.

She was born June 22, 1982, in Charlotte, NC, the daughter of Bruno Wichnoski III and Pat Wichnoski.

She was preceded in death by her grandparents, Joseph and Claire O'rourke and father-in-law, Billy Ray Hoosier.

Kelly loved spending time with her boys, hearing them play, laugh, sing or cry. She was an amazing nurse and loved helping people and making people smile. She enjoyed singing, going to church, and going hiking with her boys, doing activities they would do. She wanted to do anything as long as her boys were happy. She loved spending time with her granddaughter Lydia and seeing her boys go to church. She enjoyed meeting new people and making new friends. She loved how her boys looked. She thought there was no one more beautiful than her boys. She was very happy that her boys made healthy eating habits because she always wanted them to be as healthy as possible. She also enjoyed her phone. She loved dearest her grandmother Pat Wichnoski, from cooking recipes together to their long phone calls, they were so close. The news that grandmom was in the hospital hit her hard, and had Kelly been in better health she would have spent every waking minute in that hospital room. Kelly loved grandmom with her whole heart. She use to say that she couldn't imagine living in a world without her and I'm glad she'll never have to.

In addition to her parents, those left to cherish her memory include her loving husband of 24 years, Shane Hoosier; four sons, Douglas (Cole) Moore IV, Grifyn (Brookelyn) Hoosier, JonStevin Hoosier and Zane Konrad Hoosier; grandparents, Bruno Jr. and Pat Wichnoski; sister, Krystal Wichnoski; granddaughter, Lydia Hoosier; in-laws, Ronnie and Patricia Woody; brother-in-law, Billy Gene Hoosier; two uncles, David (Wendy) Wichnoski and Steve (Cheryl) Wichnoski; two nieces, Alexa Wichnoski and Ashlynn Hoosier; two nephews, Brandon (Jordan) Hoosier and Tanner (Cassie) Hoosier; two cousins, Caitlin Wichnoski and Connor Wichnoski; four special friends, Wendy Winter, Ashley Johnson and Nicole Comfort; and a host of other family and friends.
