Kathy Ann Rapier, 61 of Chapmanville, WV, departed this life on May 31, 2022 at St. Mary's Medical Center, Huntington, WV.
She was born May 21, 1961 in Chicago, IL the daughter of the late William Rapier and Martha Smith.
In addition to her parents, she was preceded in death by her son, Adam Nichols and granddaughter, Melodie Christian.
Kathy enjoyed spending time with her grandkids and working on her fairy garden.
Those left to cherish her memory include her companion, Toby Sabo; four daughters, Nicohl (Mervin Malone) Lopez, Dora Browning, Bethany (Chase) Queen and Erikka (Brian Caldwell) Rapier; one son, Mark (Rachael) Nichols; one sister, Sandy Neslund; three brothers, Brian (Shannon) Rapier, Billy Rapier, and Scott Turney; grandchildren, Tyler Gage, Corina Nichols, Mark Nichols II, Elyana Nichols, Heather Nichols, Mckenzie Nichols, Audrey Kirk, Eliza Christian, Melodie Christian, Killian Christian, Adam Young, Cierra Rayner, Sofia Queen, Abraham Caldwell and Titus Caldwell; great-grandchild, Elizabeth Grace Gage; step-daughters, Kayla Sabo, Hannah Sabo and Sam Sabo; four step-grandchildren, Cylas, Karlee, Bennett and Myla; step-mother, Elizabeth Rapier; and special daughter, Denise Nichols.
Services will be held at 2:00pm, Sunday, June 5, 2022 at Freeman Funeral Home with Travis Queen and Bill Queen officiating. Burial will follow at the Anna Queen Cemetery, Harts, WV.
Visitation will be on Sunday, June 5, 2022 from 1:00pm until 2:00pm at the funeral home.
Pallbearers will be Mark Nichols, Mark Nichols II, Brian Caldwell, Toby Sabo, Eddie Workman and Martin Hobbs.
