Kathy Lynn Griffith, 70 of Logan, WV, departed this life on December 2, 2025 at the Trinity Healthcare Center in Logan, WV.

She was born June 7, 1955 in Des Moines, Iowa the daughter of the late Karl and Beatrice Olson Griffith.

In addition to her parents, she was preceded in death by her brother, Rodney Karl Griffith, nephew, Jess Olson and a very special brother-in-law, Lionel Collins.

Kathy had a long career as a nurse at Williamson ARH for 28 years. She was an avid animal lover and supporter of the Paws Squad.

Those left to cherish her memory include her brother, James Albert “Jim” (Irene) Olson; her twin sister “wombmate”, Karen Sue Griffith Collins; nieces, Jean, Tammy, Kim and Joy; nephews, Barry, David, Steve, and John David; great nieces, Karen Sue and Maranda and Adella; great nephew, Brady; special cousins, Norma Lowe and Shelly Stasel; and a many more special great nieces and great nephews.

Per Kathy's request she will be cremated with a celebration of life to be set at a later date.

The family gives a special thanks to Trinity Healthcare Center for Kathy's wonderful care.
