Karen Sue Stollings, 76 of Danville, WV departed this life on Friday, May 8, 2026 at her residence.

She was born May 16, 1949 in Man, WV the daughter of the late Johnny Rufus Odoniel and Ruby Jane Odoniel.

In addition to her parents, she was preceded in death by her husband, Hobert Stollings; grandparents, Cleveland Vickers and Melissa Ball; father-in-law, Arvil Stollings; mother-in-law, Netti Stollings; and Luke Alan Stollings.

Karen loved music, and she loved to sing.

Those left to cherish her memory include her daughter, Lorrie Sue Stollings; son, Arvil Raymond (Ronda) Stollings; sister, LoLita Odoniel; brother, Gary Odoniel; grandchildren, Darrell Workman, Joseph Stollings, Gabriel Stollings, Dorothy Stollings, Noah Stollings, Dylan Cowley, Matthew Cowley; and great grandchild, Cameron Workman.

Visitation will be on from 10:00-11:00 am at Freeman Funeral Home

Services will be held at 11:00 am, Thursday, May 14, 2026 at Freeman Funeral Home with Donald Kerns officiating. Burial will follow at the Donel C. Kinnard Memorial State Veterans Cemetery in Dunbar, WV.

Pallbearers will be Ray Frye, Joseph Stollings, Gabriel Stollings, and Matthew Cowley.

Freeman Funeral Home, Chapmanville, WV is in charge of the arrangements.
