Justine Polly Purkey 68, of Branchland, WV departed this life on Friday, July 5, 2024 at Cabell Huntington Hospital.
She was born January 11, 1956 in Gill, WV the daughter of the late Ben Cochran and Maye Adkins.
In addition to her parents she is preceded in death by her husband, French Purkey; sisters, Anna Smith and Maycel Cochran; brothers, Robert Cochran, Eugen Cochran and Lester Cochran.
Justine enjoyed thrifting, along with spending time with family and friends.
Those left to cherish her memory include sons, Ronald “EJ” Lambert Jr., Jason (Loretta) Lambert, and Patrick (Savannah) Purkey; stepson, French Anthony Purkey; step daughters, Sharon Oglesby, Stacy Maine, and Kammy Purkey; sister Stella Brogan, fifteen grandchildren, and six great granchildren.
A memorial service will be held at a later date.
Freeman Funeral Home, Chapmanville, WV is in charge of the arrangements.
