June Toney

June Toney, 64, of Harts, went home to be with the Lord on Tuesday, June 25, 2019 at Cabell Huntington Hospital.

She was born September 22, 1954 in Logan, WV, the daughter of the late Grover and Leola Carter.

In addition to her parents, She was preceded in death her brothers, Wade Carter and Terry Carter.

June enjoyed planting and tending to her flowers, going to church, and spending time with her grandbabies.

Those left to cherish her memory include her husband, James “Guts” Toney; one daughter, Tabbatha (Rickey) Sexton; two sons, Jeffrey (Sherry) Osborne and John (Sherry) Toney; four sisters, Sue (Don) Hager, Peggy (Floyd) Wolford, Donna Carter, and Christy (Perry); two brothers, Ora (Tanya) Carter and Clay (Flora Mae) Carter; ten grandchildren; two great-grandchildren; and a host of friends.

Services will be held at 1:00 pm, Friday, June 28, 2019 at Freeman Funeral Home with Ernest Neace officiating. Burial will follow at Poppy & Granny Toney Cemetery, Harts, WV.

Visitation will be on Friday, June 28, 2019 from 12:00 pm until 1:00 pm at Freeman Funeral Home.

Pallbearers will be family and friends.

Freeman Funeral Home, Chapmanville, WV is in charge of the arrangements.
